OVER 150 YEARS
OF APEX BAPTIST

In 1873, Apex Baptist Church was founded as a local body of believers in the new railroad town of Apex. God greatly blessed our congregation and used the people in many ways in our community. In 1912, a new sanctuary was built with a capacity of 350, with the bold vision that our church would grow to see it filled.  Now it's our turn to pave the way for the future.
     
With God’s help, our people have been able to continually impact and reach the local community. We desire to remain faithful to our call as a church to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ across the street and around the world.
The growth in our county is exponential, and we want to steward the ministry God has given us well.

OUR GATHER VISION

We are prayerfully and humbly entering a 2-year generosity initiative at Apex Baptist. Our prayer is for this to be an extraordianry time at our church. God isn't finished with us as individuals, and He isn't finished with us as a church. During this season, we will seek to walk boldly with God-sized dreams and trust that He will gather us together, as He draws us closer to Himself and moves us forward.

A VISION BIGGER THAN A BUILDING

Our long-term vision is to plant a family of churches across our county: biblically faithful, relationally connected, missionally aligned congregations working together to reach the many.

A VISION FUELED BY GENEROSITY

To grow here and plant churches across the county will require sacrificial generosity. Not because buildings are the mission, but because mission requires resources.

$12M to create a dedicated children's wing, renovate student space, and expand worship capacity, creating welcoming environments where people can connect, grow, and encounter God. Every square foot is designed with mission in mind, ensuring that our campus remains a tool for ministry and a resource for generations to come.

Live Sent - Fueling Daily Ministry & Expanding Our Reach

$12M to support ongoing ministry operations, providing resources needed to care for people, disciple the next generation, create meaningful worship experiences, equip leaders, and sustain the programs and staffing that make ministry happen. Every. Single. Day. This provides a strong foundation that allows us to faithfully serve our community, respond to needs, and help people take their next step with Jesus.

And to further proclaim the name of Jesus by multiplying our local mission partnerships, adding to our dozens of short-term mission trips, and strengthening our church-planting in Wake County, throughout N.C., the U.S., and beyond — with an emphasis on equipping and sending our next generation. The needs and opportunites for Gospel engagement have never been greater.
